The resulting visuals and colour patterns are projected in all three wings of Madrid’s former Palace of Communications, allowing spectators to experience creativity in motion. A total of three visual modules encourage visitors to join the Klang collective in their creative process, directly translating inspiration into visions of sound. While the sounds are performed live by 15 outstanding music makers from all around the globe – from China to Peru, New Zealand and the UK – the visuals will be created in real time: by the audience itself. Bridging the digital and the analogue, the 90-minutes show by artist collective Klang! combines handcrafted structures with cutting-edge, computer-animated motion graphics.
